Hand-wired vero vs PCB copy, the noise floor told the story
I rebuilt the same fuzz circuit twice, once on a pre-etched PCB and once on hand-cut vero using my own layout. The vero version had way less hiss when the gain maxed out, like a noticeable drop after I moved the input wire away from the power trace. Anyone else find that layout mistakes show up way clearer on vero than they ever do on a manufactured board?
