PSA: A guy at Guitar Center said my patch cables were the problem, not my soldering
I've been chasing hum in my first fuzz build for 2 weeks and he said the cheap 6 inch cables I got off Amazon are unshielded. Anyone here test cables before blaming their own joints, or am I just looking for an excuse to not reflow everything?
