Three years of noisy builds, finally quieted my fuzz pedal

I kept getting this awful hum on my breadboard fuzz circuit, tried every ground trick I could find online. Last week I realized my power supply was sitting 2 inches from the input jack, moved it to the other end of the enclosure and it's dead silent now. Has anyone else had a placement fix that simple after months of frustration?
