Update: I was shocked to see a review say the new Kindle's battery actually lasts 18 weeks, not 18 days.
Found that stat in a deep-dive video from a tech reviewer named 'Laptop Mag' on YouTube. Has anyone else found a gadget review that totally changed your expectations for a product?

Yeah, that "18 weeks" thing is wild. I had a similar moment watching a review for a cheap fitness tracker. The guy dunked it in a glass of water to prove it was actually waterproof, which the specs only hinted at. Totally sold me on it.

Wait, Laptop Mag is a website, not a person though, right? I remember seeing that same 18 week stat and it was from a different reviewer actually testing the battery life.
